LAURENT MARRE NEW RELEASE | ||
ARTISTIC PROCESSESReality is nothing else but a matter of point of view. A way of seeing, apprehending and feeling. That is the case for Laurent Marre. He centers reality and transforms it. The detail, the one you have to unearth, to flush out if necessary or again the one you can discover at the first glance. And starting from this new length, he resets the overall, introducing the contrast, searching for lines. Then reality vanishes and the abstract forms dominate and transform itself into signs. A new universespreads out as from a root cell. The colours find their place and with it the contrasts give a new meaning to the detail which then becomes a new inking in a compositionthat change the markers of the original. And the heat appears, the depth reveals itself, the desire for exploring dominates. The typographic sign too can find its place like the signing of a different kind. Urban and technic. The harmony is achieved but it si nothing else than a permanent fitting which searches for the canvas, colonizes and sweeps through it. And exposes itself to the gaze.
